Description: The Lehigh Acres Municipal Services Improvement District (LA-MSID) Board of Commissioners adopted this resolution to call for a voter referendum to be held on November 6, 2018. The purpose of the referendum was to ask district voters whether the District should be allowed to implement signage powers, as authorized under Chapter 2015-202, Laws of Florida, and approved through an interlocal agreement with the Lee County Board of County Commissioners (dated June 5, 2018). These powers would allow the District to install, maintain, and control outdoor signage, monuments, and decorative or seasonal banners and lights within its boundaries.
